[FASTCGI] SNAP

Folks,

This has gone well - can anybody in the 2.X world test the SNAP, and the 
patch-posters as well?  The patches seem to fix up a couple of 
irritating edge/race conditions, should help improve stability for 
everyone in a heavily-loaded production environment.
