syswrite calls the Unix write(2) system call directly.
Perl's FastCGI support hooks in at the stdio(3) level.  Therefore
syswrite to STDOUT or STDERR will not do what you'd like
in a FastCGI program.

Not really being a perlguts expert I can't say how difficult
it would be to work around this.  I'm still waiting to hear from
somebody on how to implement Perl file handles in the approved
manner.
