Has anyone thought about enabling Apache so a fastcgi app can be ran from
a SSI? I.e. instead of <!--#exec cgi="/this/program.cgi" -->, have it be
<!--#exec fcgi="/this/program.fcgi" -->? I'm in the midst of writing a cgi
that'll do all of the banner ads that are printed out, and it'll
eventually have db tie in's and all of that jazz, so having it as a normal
CGI isn't the final solution I want.

Or perhaps there's something about handlers or something that I'm missing?
It's happened before :)
