Running apache1.2b11::
in http.conf, i tried to specify:
AppClass /foo/bar -listen-queue-depth 30 -initial-env
ORACLE_HOME=/usr/home/oracle -processes 50
in HUPing httpd, it died unless the -processes was <=20
so, in mod_fastcgi.c, there is found:
#define FCGI_MAX_PROCESSES 20
if i set this number any higher, the fastcgis come alive and die with
some sort of non-zero exit status...
Is there a way to up this number?
20 concurrent processes isn't enough to take care of the load on our server
and expanding the listen-queue just delays the inevitable, since the flow
of users is pretty constant.
but, of course, i didn't try -listen-queue-depth 30000 ;-)
thanks,
-rob
